Before payment
You can withdraw a submitted request at any time before payment. Submitting the form does not create a charge.
After payment but before work starts
If you cancel before research or contact work begins, the service fee will be refunded in full.
After work starts
Once the agreed research or contact work has started, the service fee is normally non-refundable because time has already been committed. If the agreed service cannot be delivered for a reason within the operator’s control, the undelivered portion will be refunded, up to a full refund.
An answer you did not hope for
A confirmed “no,” an unavailable item, a closed date, or an answer that does not support your plan is still a completed result. Refunds are not based on whether the third-party answer is favorable.
Unconfirmed results
If the agreed source checks and contact attempts were completed, an honest unconfirmed result is still a delivered research result. The scope confirmation will state the included attempts before payment, and the report will show what was tried and what could not be confirmed.
