Verification standard

A clear answer needs a visible trail.

This is the minimum standard behind every accepted Japan Local Check report.

1

Start with the closest source

I check current first-party Japanese information before relying on directories, reposts, or translated summaries.

2

Contact the place when the gap matters

If the published answer is missing, conflicting, or outdated, I use an agreed phone call or inquiry when practical.

3

Separate facts from uncertainty

Confirmed information, conflicting information, and details that could not be confirmed never appear as if they have the same status.

4

Record when the check happened

Every report states its check date in Japan Standard Time because stock, access rules, prices, and opening details can change.

5

Make the answer traceable

The report lists the sources used and the contact method when direct confirmation was part of the work.

The three result states

Confirmed

Supported by a current source or direct response.

Conflicting

Current sources disagree, so the difference is shown.

Could not confirm

The check was attempted, but the answer is still uncertain.

A report is a dated record of what was checked—not a promise that a third party will never change its policy.
